Welcome to the 45th TABU Dag 2025: June 12 & 13

An international linguistics conference organised at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands

TABU Dag originated from the University's linguistic journal TABU (taalbulletin, 'language bulletin'), and over the last 40 years, the event has developed into a well-established conference with a varied programme and guest speakers from different fields.

The conference offers an excellent opportunity to meet fellow researchers and discuss current topics in all fields of linguistics, including but not limited to neurolinguistics, computational linguistics, language acquisition, semantics, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, discourse analysis, and text analysis. Graduate students and postdoctoral researchers are particularly encouraged to present their work at TABU Dag.

Train Disruptions in Groningen from 10 May to 12 July

Due to ongoing construction at Groningen Central Station, train services will be reduced or suspended in phases from 10 May to 12 July. No trains will run between Groningen Europapark and Groningen Central during this period. Replacement busses will be available. We recommend you to plan ahead and consult Groningen Bereikbaar for live updates and alternatives. Please check the timetables for the trains and busses on website/app 9292.
